When shopping meets ‘pajama party’ in the city

Crave party

So you like shopping.  You enjoy the buzz of downtown nightlife.  You miss pajama parties.  Ok, so this is assuming you’re on the feminine side…

Melody Biringer does as well, and she’s done something extraordinary about it, turning a small pajama party at a spa into 50 shopping pajama parties (and growing like wild) at avant garde hotels (like the Jupiter Hotel profiled yesterday) in major cities across the U.S.  These

crave parties not only feature goods from dozens of merchants, but fashion shows, massages, make-overs, belly dancers, auction, DJ, open bar…

The event has grown to the point where men are openly invited and pajamas aren’t required, but this is the kind of eclectic event that represents contemporary entertainment and shopping in your neighborhood downtown, and the kind of event your city needs if it’s to attract the creatives.
